Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to West Seattle Football Junior Football & Cheer (WSJF&C).
It’s a pleasure to have you as part of the Wildcats family. Football is a competitive sport, and it brings out the spirit in all of us.
Your encouraging voice and display of only the best sportsmanship will provide our youth with positive memories and lifelong lessons. Most importantly, it will ensure we have a fun and safe environment to teach teamwork, sportsmanship, and the values of community.
Your electronic signature on the registration form confirms that you reviewed, understand, support, and will follow these codes of conduct rules at our activities. (Please note: Code of conduct/ethics are required by law for all insured franchises.)
All questions and concerns about a game will be addressed at the following practice.
Game day is a time to display good sportsmanship, maintain the integrity of the franchise, remember the nature and purpose of the event, and improve the overall outlook of our community.
All players, cheerleaders, coaches, volunteers, and visitors attending practice, games, or events should model great sportsmanship and respect at all times.
Parents and guardians are responsible for relaying our expectations to guests (and the children) accompanying them at WSJF&C events. Violations by guests are considered to be violations by the Wildcat parents and players.
Drugs, Tobacco, Alcohol, and Profanity
Tobacco products are permitted 100 yards away from practice and game fields. No drugs, alcohol, weapons, or profanity are permitted at or around WSJF&C facilities or events.
The unlikely event of a code violation will result in a trespassing and suspension from functions sanctioned by WSJF&C and/or its affiliates unless and until the WSJF&C board of directors allows return. Illegal acts will be prosecuted.
Here’s to a wonderful season and to good times with family and friends.
